PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Etching signed, titled and numbered 1/20 just under the image. Entitled: Chicken Run. Gallery label oon reverse. I bought this directly from the famous Thumb Gallery in the late 80s because I loved the powerful image. It reminded me, alot, of Andrzej Klimowski, and as his work was out of my price range (and still is) I settled for this.

The artist must of been a kind of young turk at the time as the Thumb Gallery represented him but finding any info on him now is nigh impossible. He seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. He'd be middle-aged now, perhaps he's somebody like the Syd Barrett of art; perhaps he has settled down to everyday life and the stresses and strains it brings. I just don't know. He's left the work but he's left nothing else.
